Friday 14th December marked ETE’s fourth annual Xmas Jumper Day, in which members of staff are urged to turn up to work wearing their Christmas jumper of choice in aid of a nominated charity. This year ETE pledged to donate £10 per participating employee to Bury’s Stray Cat Fund, having supported the Teenage Cancer Trust and Guide Dogs for the Blind in previous years.
Bury’s Stray Cat Fund is an independent cat sanctuary who have been helping felines of all ages and background for over 35 years. Whether it is caring for or re-homing, both, domesticated and feral cats, Bury’s Stray Cat Fund is on hand to ensure a better life for any moggie taken in. Bury’s Stray Cat Fund is located just 0.5 miles from the ETE factory and offices and, as such, ETE felt it apt that the money raised should support this local independent charity. For further information about how you can help, please visit www.burystraycatfund.co.uk.
It might have been cold outside, but there was a notable warm feeling radiating from the ETE premises, as 12 members of staff turned up to work sporting their finest Christmas threads. Personal donations from employees, combined with ETE’s pledge, gave a grand total of £158.30 to be donated to Bury’s Stray Cat Fund. ETE would like to say a big thank you to everybody who turned up in their Christmas jumper and for all the donations received.
What a cracker… the ETE workforce full of festivity in their best Christmas wear
The day provided much fun and laughter and acted as the perfect appetiser for next Friday’s ETE Christmas Party at The Manger Stables & Bistro in Bradfield Combust.
