A History Of The Company
Eastern Transformers and Equipment (ETE) was formed in 1984. Originally a Bury St Edmunds based company, it relocated in 2004 to larger premises at Great Whelnetham, three miles from the town.
Since its establishment ETE has become a leading manufacturer of transformers and wound components for the UK’s control panel builders, machine builders, and automation & control system specialists.
ETE has developed a comprehensive approach to its markets with modern production facilities to cope with low and high volume requirements.
ETE is ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 approved for the ‘Design, Manufacture, and Supply of Transformers, Inductors, Wound Components and Electrical Power Equipment’.
As of 2019, ETE are certified to manufacture UL Listed transformers from 25VA to 5kVA 1ph.
