Ex stock range of Variable Autotransformers

The variable autotransformers (also known as variacs) in our RAVI series are used for the variable control of voltages from 0V to 270V 1ph and 0V to 470V 3ph. The variacs have an input of either 240V 1ph or 415V 3ph with output currents ranging from 1A to 28A. A selection of mounting options are available with the units being panel mountable, bench mountable, floor mountable, or free standing. Additionally, open-type and enclosed types are also on offer within this range. Variable autotransformers are frequently used in repair shops for testing appliances under differing voltages or to imitate irregular line voltages.
