The current year for ETE has seen a steady but positive improvement in business.
Prices for raw materials have stabilised but, in some areas, are still of concern. Inflationary pressures are easing but need to be monitored.
Sales for many of our products are strong and improvements in the post-pandemic supply chain has helped considerably.
The year ahead
ETE was established in August 1984, so 2024 will be its 40th birthday.
Significant investment within the company continues under the new progressive management of Hannah Bayes and Lindsay Tapping. New and extensive storage facilities are being installed and significant production enhancements are put in place, these all contribute to ETE remaining a key player in the market.
A key formative partnership with Plastim for ABS enclosures and thermal management products will be developed over the coming year.
Our power supply manufacturer, MEAN WELL, has designed and manufactured an important new range of switched-mode power supplies for battery charging. New literature and a special promotion with be available in the new year.
ETE has just produced a 500kVA transformer for the wind turbine sector of the economy. The design was based on utilising a high-grade low-loss core for maximum efficiency and low losses.
As with all previous years, ETE moves into the new year with realistic optimism.
