Friday 15th December marked ETE’s third annual Xmas Jumper Day in which members of staff were urged to turn up to work wearing their Christmas jumper of choice in aid of a nominated charity. This year ETE pledged to donate £10 per participating employee to Bury’s Stray Cat Fund having previously supported the Teenage Cancer Trust and Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Bury’s Stray Cat Fund is an independent cat sanctuary who have been helping felines of all ages and backgrounds for over 35 years. Whether it is caring for or re-homing, both, domesticated and feral cats Bury’s Stray Cat Fund is on hand to ensure a better life for any moggie taken in. For further information about how you can help please visit www.burystraycatfund.co.uk.
It might have been cold outside but there was a notable warm feeling radiating from the ETE premises. All 15 members of staff turned up to work sporting their finest Christmas threads helping to make ETE’s Xmas Jumper Day a highly successful occasion. Personal donations from employees combined with ETE’s pledge gave a grand total of £200 being donated to Bury’s Stray Cat Fund. ETE would like to say a big thank you to everybody who turned up in their Christmas jumper and for all the donations received.
What a cracker… the ETE workforce full of festivity in their best Christmas wear
The day provided much fun and laughter and acted as the perfect appetiser for the evening’s staff Christmas meal at The Bush Inn in Shimpling.
